The Millport Gallery was established in 2006 to exhibit the work of Scottish artists who draw on Millport and the surrounding area for their inspiration.

Millport is the only town on the Firth of Clyde island of Great Cumbrae. Just a mile from the Scottish mainland, and easily reached in just a few minutes by ferry from Largs, Millport is a traditional destination for Glaswegian holidaymakers heading 'doon the watter' and is a regular port for the PS Waverley, the world's last sea-going paddle-steamer. This green, unspoilt island is home to a close-knit community of around 1300 people
